I think it's better if you get a bowl put the water and the acrylic paint on the same bowl mix with a spoon and then pour the mixture in the spray
bottle .

This would be crap then. All the hot water ruins the binding quality. U may put varnish on afterwards.

Hey, thank you so much for the tutorial. I have two questions. One when the water cools does the paint begin to separate, and two what keeps the paint from clogging the spray bottle and ruining it?

Acrylic paint isn't meant to be disolved with that much water. The binder in it will be diluted way too much. Use airbrush medium instead. Especially if using it on canvas. I guess for art journaling in will be ok-ish. But no. Don't make your sprays this way!
