Madrid Itinerary:
Day One:
Palaces-Retiro-Salmanaca-Malansaña-Gran Vía-Temple Debod-Flamenco Show
Metro from Opera station to Retiro (L2)
Explore Crystal Palace & Retiro
After Park, explore Plaza de Cibeles (Metro Building)
Wander up to Salamanca, then walk back down through Malansaña towards Grand Vía
Walk along towards Royal Palace, View it from outside
See the time, either head back for rest or continue
If continuing, explore Sabatini gardens and then walk over to Temple Debod
Back to Airbnb, rest, freshen up (change if need be)
Head out for Tapas/drinks at Mercado de San Miguel
Flamenco Show at La Carbarera, 11pm, get there at least 15 minutes early for seating.

Day Two:
Sunday
El Rastro, La Latina, Lavapies, Botin
Head over to El Rastro flea market early and stop for breakfast
Walk over to the Cathedral and tour
Explore Sabatini Gardens
Stop by San Gines again
Head over to La Latina for Tapas crawl (Tapas recommendations: Taberna la Concha, Díaz y Larroy, La Posada de la Villa, La Posada del Dragón, La Perejila, Casa Lucas, Taberna Tempranillo, Los Huevos de Lucio
Wander around until tired, then head back.

We are heading out to Madris for 2 1/2 days, then Barcelona for 2 1/2 days then 8 days in Mallorca, then one more day in Madrid for our flight back. You have REALLY helped us out. Our first hotel is the Iberostar on Grand via. Last Madris hotel is in front of Retiro park. Great timing for us to view you videos. Keep them coming.

How is the current situation in Madrid? Based on what I read on (the Dutch) Wikipedia I want to visit Madrid, but during normal conditions, thus not with empty streets [because of the Corona restrictions]. It is still like that?
