I dont read comics so my impression from the movie was that Eternal were made. That is why they don't grow old and why Sprite does not grow up. If Thanos is an Eternal then how it is explained the "race" of Eternal instead of a made "robot?"

just throwing out an idea about the MCU Thanos. even though we don't see him using any powers without the stones could it be that as an eternal that the stones amplify his abilities that wouldn't be as far reaching without them. for example without the space stone he would only be able to teleport short distances like say on the same planet
