This was already the Queen's decision. If she wanted Andrew to resume his royal duties she would have taken care of that before she died. Andrew reportedly tried to convince the Queen to bypass Charles in the line of succession. He's not in any position to ask Charles for this kind of a favor, when the public clearly does not want Andrew to resume any royal duties.

I’m not a royalist but I agree with King Charles not allowing Andrew to return to royal duties. He may not of been found guilty of despicable and shameful behaviour but that BBC interview was quite telling of his arrogance and how he looks down on everybody. It was strange there’s this photo of him clearly around a teenager’s waist and still denies it. He should go back and stay under the rock he’s trying to creep out of.

Actually his mother Queen Elizabeth 2 already told Andrew this. After all she is the one who benched him and stripped him. So why is this coming back to Charles. This was settled a couple of years back. This is ALL due to Andrew. Not on his mom or on his brother. And to be clear, it was the PUBLIC who made the call and the Queen respected the public s decision.

He’s has enough warning. Charles started talking about a slimmed down monarchy at The Queen’s 60th jubilee. Many years ago he was referred to as "Randy Andy" in the press. I remember, many many years ago, he was at some kind of dinner function. One of the waitresses ended up spanking Andy while everyone there watched and laughed at the joke.

Because his narcissism would cause him to believe she was being unreasonable and that, as a man, there was no way Charles would be so unreasonable as well. So I absolutely believe this happened and that Andrew said something quite similar to that. It’s just more proof of his narcissistic delusion.
