Final episode from the summer road trip! Now it's time to do further improvements on the van. What would you like to see? 😊

I can totally relate to everything you said about your van. Even though my T3 has broken down a couple of times and it has given me quite some grieve in the past two years, I absolutely LOVE being on the road with it. There is nothing like discovering the world in a T3 in my opinion :)
Thanks for your amazing videos and hit me up next time you are in Germany :)

My dad found a t25 in a field rusting away for 14 years and he fixed it up and our van is the same colour as yours. It’s hard work and needs constant fixing up but the memories you make and they’re just beautiful. They’re great!

Tip for everyone planning trips lile this: get the van 100 % serviced and replace stuff ahead. New batteries, starter and altenator helps. Do not safe on that.

We use a 12v camping fan heater. It's got a thermostat built in.

I am looking foreward to more great travel vlogs from the three of you...I meant to say all four of you because I think the T3 is also a member of your family....every motor driven vehicle has a soul of its own.
Wishing you safe and happy travels

I did over 20, 000 kms in a Kombi around Europe in 1980. It never once let us down. Regular maintenance and a good tyre kicking kept it moving. Watch and listen for signs of wear and tear. But most of all, enjoy the trip.

Very well done video, nice contrast between scenic shots and personal life. Flowed beautifully. I have a T4, with a Wallas diesel cooktop heater, you don’t need the cooktop I realize, but mine works great. Looking forward to more videos. 🇨🇦👍💛

3:28 Use a temporary top mounted heater on your cooker. Look on ebay for "Stainless Steel Portable Mini Camping Warmer Heater".

I've just found this video and I love it. Just hired an old T3 in Lanzerote for 4 days, it was a bit of a wreck but we fell in love with it. We have a T4 Caravelle at home in the UK which we also love. It looks like U2 have had a blast on yr tour. Fantastic scenery in yr video's . Enjoy your van & life on the road. Take care.😎🇬🇧

In my T3 I installed a Planar 2D and a 200 W solar system with a 100 Ah AGM battery. That's enough for a compressor fridge and to charge all the stuff. The secondary battery is under the driver seat, with room for more 100 Ah under the passenger seat. The Planar heater is great and the installation is very easy. If you don't want to put it inside, you can even put it in a box under the van.
