In this video Steve O reviews the Unger Opti-Loc Aluminum Extension Pole. The Unger OptiLoc Extension Pole 2 Section is made of extruded aluminum. This Pole features nylon handles, collars for light weight durability, ergonomic grip, and an easy locking mechanism secures pole at desired length. Cleaning tools can easily attach to the Poles locking cone with either a press fit, screw fit, or snap fit.

Yeah, I liked the unger poles, they lasted waaay longer than the ettore ones. But for me, I really like the Moerman pole, it just fits my ettore handles better.

Oh, and for the super long optilocs, save a chunk of your thumb by putting a little band of electrical tape under the collars - this prevents it from slamming down on your thumb and causing much much bleeding.

Man, I really like a WOOD cone on my poles, those nylon cones just never fit tools as well, soak that wood cone in your bucket and they are sweet for fit and ease of removal of tools. I do now get it, the internal locking collars on Garelicks are more delicate, but an issue for an Owner, employees though...they will fuck up an anvil eventually.
