I like that reflection. Seeing someone positively rising is one thing, but seeing them rise partly because of your help and support is a well deserved proud feeling.
I'm not a parent myself, but I think this is what parents feel when their child comes home being happy after having received a good grade or sport achievement, or something else that made this child happy.
