Why the rainbow flag. The Rainbow has Christian significance. The Pride community stole the rainbow 🌈 . Pride goes before destruction. God is sovereign.

Just a thought... the rainbow is a covenantal sign given to Noah following the destruction of the entire world save 8 persons. It is a covenantal sign that not only signifies God's promised preservation of the righteous but also (by way of necessity) God's promised destruction of the godless. Therefore, when the 'pride' people waive their flag they are essentially waving their death warrant and they seem to have no clue about the bitter irony of their position.

It seemed pretty obvious to me why, after conversion, the first time I read the Bible, and saw that the rainbow was the symbol God declared and used after the flood.

They use it now as an insult and to mock him. Because they’ve lost their minds and the understanding that God will not be mocked.
I don’t know that it was intentionally originated with them in that way, because it may have been the powers and principalities idea. Either way. it ought to be taken back.

I call it that flag the Devil's Rainbow: it only has 6 colors. It's incomplete. An actual rainbow has 7 colors.

The rainbow symbolizes that God promised He will not again destroy all flesh. It seems they are gloating in that flesh which is not being destroyed, except that they are mistaken; they are headed to destruction and it's those who trust Christ who will not be destroyed. Let's pray God brings many of them to Truth, and let's pray God's mercy on those who trust in His only son.

I remember back when this was all starting, before same sex marriage was legalised and I was in high school, they had a gay pride day where people made rainbow cupcakes and had rainbow flags... I always joked (with my family!) about making a black and white flag to celebrate humility and good old fashioned marriage. It seems less funny now.

Its actually very fitting... the rainbow was a symbol of God's next destruction of Fire. Psalm 7:11-13 "God a just judge, And God is angry every day. If he does not turn back, He will sharpen His sword; He bends His bow and makes it ready. He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors."
