I would call lower sales a good thing. Hopefully ppl are waking up to these ridiculous prices and stop paying them.

Glad sells are down, the automakers are ripping off the people with crazy prices and options that we don’t need.

Probably most people have decided that the prices are so high it's not worth it. If I bought my truck in the exact same configuration, it's 13, 000 more now. Sorry but 75k for a chevy silverado 2500hd duramax Z71 with cloth seats is ridiculous

The price swing is coming. I'm in Canada - in 18 months we went from seeing dealerships selling trucks for $10k over MSRP, to now $10k under. That said, the MSRP is still ridiculous for most trucks and SUVs.

Prices are totally out of control! 5 years ago I was buying a fully loaded F-150 XLT for 42k and platinum for 60k. I will not buy these trucks any where near these prices.

Glad to see sales are down. Especially with the stupid high prices, terrible financing rates, and so so quality.

The success of the Maverick tells the story. Customers want a nice affordable truck, where they can enjoy some bells and whistles without having another mortgage payment.

All bad news for buyers who paid $$$$ markups for pickups over the past few years. All trucks are at least 40% over-priced.

Stop chasing capability in the 1/2 ton class, start focusing on reliability, affordability and overall low cost of ownership.

There is no reason to pull a 12000lb trailer with 1/2 ton. Most people aren’t pulling more than 6500lbs camping trailers.

Also stop making them giant looking bricks the visibility out of the newest half tons is terrible.

I’m not paying 50k for a basic trim truck

I literally shop for a new truck Every day, but even when I find one that I like. When I calculate the monthly payment, usually around 1200 a month, I just can’t justify it. Then moving down to used trucks I always come to the conclusion that it’s not really any better than what I have now 🤔

The maverick sells because its commonly the cheapest thing on the lot other than a bronco sport or escape.

No wonder Stellantis is having trouble selling vehicles. If youd bought one recently and had trouble with it, youd know how horrible they are to deal with.
Ive owned my new Ram Cummins for a little over a year. Still dealing with vibration and transmission issues.
It only gets better when the customer demands better. And they aint the only game in town.

Easy to see the reason... PRICES are too high. Nobody want a truck with this amount of electronic, people want a good, reliable and affordable truck.

I want a truck, but I don't want to have to finance it for 969 months... 😂

Some of these “dealers” are still demanding market adjustments for trucks you can find anywhere. Liberty chevrolet (Selma, Ca) tried to slip in a market adjustment when I bought my ZR2 Silverado. Found another one at a dealer and paid msrp.

Comb,
a strip of plastic, metal, or wood with a row of narrow teeth, used for untangling or arranging the hair.
