I resonate a lot with you in terms of the experience in java and the love for java making it difficult to go away from JAVA. But at the same time the urge to learn AI but only finding Python as the supported or preferred language makes me feel sad.
I want to learn AI but using Java. It will be really helpful if you start something which will allow us to learn AI but yet stick to the our loved language JAVA.

If Java ecosystem gets stronger and provides all support for AI implementation, the migration of the ERPs, introducing a new tech stake in existing eco system would be saved... and for Java developers, they will be having always an upper hand for knowing both Java and AI together :) People are thinking and talking to get this in existence. However, as there is no central discussion going on, this is fading away faster than it could be.
