This gets kind of funny when you look at the tie-in manga. Kalego's clan are apparently "guard dogs" of hell. Opera is a literal hellcat. Certain things make a lot more sense now.

So it’s even more funny when canonically in the manga opera really likes fluffy and fuzzy things so when he heard of kalego’s summoning form you know he’s been plotting this for awhile now

Opera is my favourite character.
In the Manga when the one year contract for familiar summoning expires, Kalego kidnaps Iruma and forces him not to renew the contract. All the students start plotting to trick Iruma into summoning Kalego again and renewing the contract.
Kalego fends them all off and the Opera jumps in and starts trying to renew the contract as well.
Eventually it is safely cancelled and Kalego explains that once demons cancel their contract with a familiar, they can never summon it again. He then gives Iruma a new piece of summoning parchment and has him retry his summoning... and Kalego reappears halfway through the summoning portal. This time Iruma tries to push him down to cancel but Opera appears and pushes Kalego through to complete the summoning once again.

It should be noted Opera’s special request to Sullivan as payback for him helping, was basically for Sullivan to create a reason to get Kalego to their house so he could bully him.
