It's fantastic to have another top tier player for foul weather gear! Regarding the 'wet bum feel', I've been wondering why this isn't solved by a layer of insulation that still functions when sitting on it. I assume it's the same principle that requires an insulating matress even if your sleeping bag's insulation is more than sufficient at the areas where you don't compress it with your weight..
