As a Canadian, Rush makes me a proud Canadian citizen. Amazing and iconic piece of music history. RIP Niel Peart

Neil Peart is one of the greatest drummer's of all time.

This whole album, "Moving Pictures" is a masterpiece. Literally every track is worth your consideration. Scary to think this was released 41 years ago. RIP Neil.. You are sorely missed.

Oh Neil, you are so dearly missed, as a musician, and as a great human! Forever in our hearts, the professor! Greetz to all Canadians from Belgium...

I feel his voice fits perfectly with this band and it’s as iconic as the way they mastered they’re instruments.

Your reactions are gold. I will humbly request “Limelight” as your next Rush reaction.

Probably the 3 most prolific musicians ever to play in the same band together. You've got a 40 year plus catalog to enjoy from these dudes!

I saw Rush many times live. I was never disappointed. They all master musicians! R.I.P. Professor 😭

Aileen, Peart was voted number 1 in so many rock drummer polls, including Utube, Rolling Stone and Billboard mags. He also was a huge reader who had his own library with everything from Clancy to King to Tokien, and it showed in all the lyrics he wrote for Rush.

RUSH - THE Greatest Canadian Band, ever...and there is some thick competition. As far as the Greatest Rock Band ever, on the Planet, they are certainly in the runnings. Geddy sings, plays bass, keyboards, and other instruments.

Wow Aileen, thanks for getting to this classic by Rush. Really loved your reaction. Can't wait to see more Rush on the channel. So many great tracks to recommend, you can't go wrong with any of the following:

YYZ Live in Rio
Working Man Live in Cleveland
Limelight
The Spirit of Radio
Xanadu Live 1981 Exit Stage Left tour
Freewill
Jacob's Ladder

many many more but that is a start.

I was lucky enough to see Rush (5/16/1981 Largo Capital Center) for their Moving Pictures tour. They totally blew me and everyone else there away!

Iconic song. Aileen made an iconic and perhaps even a spiritual statement describing their play as "collective chaos". Didn't think it sounded like chaos because the timing and rhythm of everything is so precise, but there is a chaotic element in there. Rush was one of many bands of the 70s and 80s that my friends and I liked, but in retrospect, I've discovered that Rush was one of the most innovative and technical bands of that iconic era. I can hear the echoes of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Jimmy Hendrix in their style and sound, especially with Alex Lifeson's guitar.

Rush "working man" (LIVE In Cleveland) is mind blowing, what a performance that is.

The first time I nailed this bassline, after a solid YEAR of practice, was my proudest day as a musician.
