I love how every single civ sounds totally overpowered in its own right ;) Must have been a pain to balance.

Seriously though, it is nice to finally have Norway in the game, and it looks like it will be pretty good. I especially like the ability to explore and colonize early, and it looks like Norway will be a strong contender for early coastal dominance. I'm a bit surprised about the religious district replacement, but it is not inappropriate. The Norse had a rich religion.

Yes! Hadratta! the last true blue Viking in History! This guy was exiled from Norway, served along side the Kievan Rus against the Poles and Nomads, then served in the Varangian Guard in Byzantium, conquered the east of Sicily, battled the Lombards, subdued the Bulgars and may have fought in Jerusalem. Just to return to Norway to reconquer his position.

Then, to top it off, he died in battle at Stamford Bridge in quest for the Anglo Saxon throne in 1066.

I think I found my first play for Civ VI.

I am so glad to see Norway in the game; I've always wanted to play as them. I have relatives in Sandnes and I managed to visit them there last year after many years of them visiting us. I love this country so much. Even though they don't quite fit my playstyle, I'm still going to play as them first. Skål!

I think I speak for the majority of disappointed Danes when I say: At least it's not Sweden.

And let's face it. Norway deserves a bit acknowledgement.

Grattis till mina norska bröder att dåkker äntligen får vara en civ i spelet och inte bara som en dansk special unit(Norwegian Ski Infantry). Då kanske man får sluta spela Oda Nobunaga nu då och köra på med Harald! The hype is real, kärlek till Norge! :-)

Norway and Denmark are pretty interchangeable and have been one country for much of history. Not a big deal like people are making it out to be.
