Driving an XJS V12 is always a special occasion however this one is a bit more special. It is original unrestored and has just covered 22,000 miles from new! What's it like to drive?

I have a white 1990 XJ-S V12 with 60, 000 miles as my summer daily, it's in good condition but not pristine like this one, what a beauty.

having had quite a few old low mileage cars I'd definitely say the fuel and cooling systems are two crucial areas that are age not mileage dependant

I just bought an 84 xjs V12 the car has a lot of miles on it but I have to say the car is pretty unmolested. For it being over here in America at this time in its life when it's going to be 40 years old next year, usually you find these cars with fuse boxes that are absolutely booger Beyond boogered. Usually the Interiors look like the rats were at them, this one isn't too bad. I think that all of the leather is savable and it's a cobalt blue with a blue interior. Headliners perfect and the car runs okay it does need catching up, if you know what I mean, it has been sitting for quite some time. ut the car starts and it runs and it goes and it stops LOL. I am looking to do a complete restoration on this car. I could say that I am very excited to do it. I picked the car up for sixty five hundred bucks. The body isn't too bad there are few rust spots but not bad, overall solid floors quarter fenders and doors. The car is definitely worth being saved and I believe that it is in the right hands😊

Great video as ever - many thanks Adam. I've just bought an '87 XJS-C with 10, 000 genuine miles on it. Japanese import with zero rust and wear. Just running it in now as it feels as tight as a nut. They are out there still....

I purchased a 1988 XJ-S early last year that had 14K miles and it looks like this. She is in excellent condition. Now has 17K miles

I just purchased a 1986 XJS yesterday. It’s been taken care of but def needs plugs and service to iron out some subtle wrinkles. I absolutely love the design, and yes, torque. She goes!

My ‘87 XJ-SC has 23k miles. Not as immaculate though, but I love it .

Amazing to know that this exists today. It’s got to be one of the only original xjs’s to have such low mileage, c’mon it’s a V12, it’s barely run in 😮. I would KILL to have this beauty in my garage. Don’t worry it’s just a figure of speech 😂. Beautiful 👌

Beautiful cars, I had a couple in my late teens & early 20's the first was chassis number 13 white with red ox hide, probably long rotted away now

Fell in love with these as a kid watching Simon Templar in the Saint TV series. Love that white and biscuit colour combination you have there, ahhh V12 supreme turbine silkiness. My friend has a V12 BMW 750i that doesn't rev very high but as you say it's all in the torque.

Hello Adam. When you become recognised for your superaltive work and knowledge on these wonderful vehicles then by definition, you are bound to work on the creme de la creme ! It certainly rang the memory bells for me as l was blessed to road test many of these brand new ! I owned a '76 for 12months back in 1996 owed me £100 ! I had our local Jaguar Specialists give it the once over . S & P Autoservices, who still trade today and it soon reminded me why Jaguar were the legend they became . Grace, space and Pace ....l fondly called mine the elastic band . It wasn't the fastest off the line but the torque was endless and a 100mph + was very effortless ....and quick ! One day l may tell you of my "suicidal " drive back from Exeter to Kingsteignton (in Devon, England ) suffice to say l took one corner at close to 130mph when the norm ' was half that speed . Thanks Adam

Fantastic condition, my 89 XJS is a little way behind that example!
Hope the new owner keeps up its current immaculate condition.

It would be of great help if you could post some detailed photos of the engine bay in order to identify every decal in it. When buying decal for a restoration project is difficult to locate wher to put them. Thanks!!
