The reduction of inflammation thing is important, people will see muscular athletes like rugby players using it when they're doing conditioning work and gym sessions and assume it benefits muscle gain as well. When in actuality they're using the two in tandem so they can maintain as much strength as possible while doing up to 2 conditioning sessions per day to improve their cardio.

Ok we know expose in cold temp after workout stunts hypertrophy, but lets say if the cryotherapy or cold plunge is performed hours later, wouldnt it help prep the body for next workout better without messing up the growth stimulus via hypertrophy training?

Also ice packs have the same effect as cryotherapy and is much cheaper!! Just use ice 😊

The issue is doing cryotherapy right after a workout, but where is the research that says cryotherapy reduces muscle growth when it's done, say, 24 hours after a workout?

When I take a shower I usually take it cold just because i'm cheap. I wanna assume it's not a big deal if they are short.

Does sauna help grow then? I was a roofer for a long time in Oklahoma. I always wondered what benefits, if any, I was getting working all day in that crazy heat.

tecnically it an give theillusion of gains if you get as many people as possibl to do it and you dont it will mean you are slightly bigger than them

I still like Ice baths, so if I do one at all, it is at least 24 hrs after a workout. Don't know if that makes a difference for muscle growth
