I can not imagine the discomfort this poor lady must have been in. She is so strong to come onto live television and talk about this. I pray she got the right treatment and she is doing better!

I had this after my last baby at 40! I really feel for this woman. It is so awful. I had two surgeries and finally have my life back. This happens to a lot of women but I had never heard of it before! I called an ambulance the first time my uterus fell out!! Anyways!! Well wishes to this lady and all women who go through it!

I know first hand how hard this situation is. I am a 36 year old mother. 1.5 years ago I had an anterior prolapse repair. About 7 weeks ago i felt pressure and went to the specialist, my uterus, bladder and posterior wall had all prolpsed leaving me in an imense amount of discomfort. Every day has made me feel like less of a woman. You smile on the outside but on the inside you are falling apart literally as well as emotionally.

I am a mother to three beautiful children and my damage is a direct result from having my family. In 8 days I am having a total hysterectomy and pelvic floor repair done all at once.

I have had some dark days and sometimes feel so frustrated that my body keeps falling apart. I struggle to understand why but know this is the only option for me.

I feel to young to be doing this but cant go on feeling inside out.

I feel so sorry for this poor lady. I have only endured 7 weeks but she has had 10 years. I hope her quality of life improves and I hope shee feels better soon.

In 8 days I will have had my surgery and will be on the road to recovery.

I am 30 years old and have a mild bladder prolapse. I have had bladder issues for a long time so it's no surprise. It's not as bad as what this lady has but I need to pee almost constantly.

I have exactly this at 68 and have had it for years. I use oestrogen cream vaginally, exercises that I watch on YouTube with Dr Bri and wear support knickers where on bad days I use a rolled up sanitary towel that I place in the bulging area then pull up the knickers to hold it in place. With the tight support knickers the sanitary towel is held in place and stops the bulge from coming down. With the oestrogen cream I find I can cope with this condition and with Dr Bri’s amazing exercises my prolapse isn’t always a problem. You need a lubricant in order to push the prolapse back into the vaginal canal, surrounded by oestrogen cream and do pelvic floor exercises during the day every day. Ladies you can deal with this without surgery as surgery isn’t always a good choice. The tissue is thin and once the uterus is removed if prolapse occurs again the bowel can prolapse. For this terrifying reason I personally won’t have surgery.

Please Drs we woman need help with Ehlers Danlos. Pelvic organ prolapse is 1 co morbidity of EDS. I know women who are living with rectal prolapse etc and have had multiple failed surgeries sometimes and have very low quality of life. And other things that people should not have to deal with.
