Building a Bitcoin Mining Shed!

I built my first cryptocurrency mining shed years ago, but now I am trying to make a 2.0 bitcoin mining shed and eventually power it with solar panels! With the new and improved Mining Shed 2.0 built and almost ready, it's time to start planning the 2 most important parts of a mining farm: miner layout and airflow. Today I’ll go through my plans and thought process behind building out this huge 100 Acre Bitcoin mining farm during a bear market that will hopefully be the best cryptocurrency investment of my life... or uh... worst lol

I would do a middle path. Racks down both sides so the middle is the hot isle and both sides the cold isle.

Security: What about security? Not hard to break into that shed. Cooling: maybe an additional roof over the whole thing to create a thermal break. The sun beating directly on the roof, without ventilation, the surface will get quite hot. since you removed the vent, you can create a defacto roof vent system by building a separate roof..

600 hundred amps is a lot of solar panels if you want to be self sufficient. I use 5500 watts or about 23 amps and would have to cover my roof front and back to get less than 4 hours per day of power on a good day. Use corn grown on your land to make biodiesel from corn oil and run this in a diesel generator may be cheaper. I have toying around with an idea to mine using a old converted diesel school bus. Plus I get an easy way to move it whenever have the need. ; )

Name the shed "The Doge House"

Protective overhang to keep rain away from intake cooling fans, . White roof (8.5% energy efficiency boost). Spray foam roof insulation.

I'm too fight my electric provider. They don't want to upgrade my lines to the pole. Apparently a number 4 gauge aluminum will work for them. Just wait until melt the lines.

Nice shed. B4 you start find the ambient temperature of the room to determine how to continue. You said no intake fan but a small exhaust blower is necessary.Put your miner intake side facing northward or away from the E S W side to minimize hot intake off the sun walls. Now the filters will be on the NW N NE side. You have no overhang so you might want to put a pull out {RV} awning over the intake vents. There's plenty more but this is already too long. I know you will do good. RVA.

Shed Looks Amazing! Have any questions hit me up! Maybe a few weeks ahead of you with my Shed. Finally got some rigs in it, insane!

If you really want passive air flow, get a bunch of whirlybirds on the roof. Not much as compared to electrical exhaust fans but will definitely help move the air without an extra cost of electric each month. I have 4 on my shed and 4 attic electrical vents as well. My shed is 198sq ft for reference

I’m thinking a bitcoin crop circle in the corn 🌽.. definitely a chocolate factory 🏭 and some oompah loompas. Dude that thing is sweet!! Definitely a couple security cameras

You would probably need more ventilation dude to run that amount of miners which will draw 500Amps electricity.
Each Bitmain 110T releases 10000BTU and with 500Amps input you can run around 35 miners (500 amps/14amps each miner). So 350000 BTU of heat - you need more air circulation for sure - probably a air pass through design on the larger wall of the shed would work to exhaust out that heat.

These are our thoughts as we went through all this in a smaller scale though -Please let us know how it goes and Good Luck.
We know you will definitely crack it -

I have a 12x16 metal tin shed fully insulated with drywall and I have 13, 000 watts of gpus in there and all I can say is I have literally 3 windows and 4 intakes the windows stay open all the time I can’t have filters because it restricts air flow terribly and ontop of it I have 4 big fans I cut out for outtake it’s not enough. I live in Missouri and when it reaches 98 I’m screwed by 12-1pm until dark I loose close to 300mh my cards are spaced out nicely to

I cannot wait to see how your mining farm turns out and follow along every step of the way.

For filters, use washable/ reusable filters. That's what I do and spray water on them and once they dry, put them back on. Or you can have 2 sets so there isn't downtime or much

Congrats that a nice 5-10 ASICS closed shed only in winter, more than that you need to split temp with a physical wall. I will go long not wide use the door to access miners, open garage door to help purge exhaust on hot days, huge intakes with filters and even bigger motorized exhaust, on each opposite walls. However the most expensive part will be your power cable, I mean to get it all the way out there, may be cheaper to move the shed as close as possible to the transformer inlet. good luck !
