For those who are having the issue I was having. Some people have the website opening after closing it from the task manager. To stop this from opening after you close it, go to your taskbar, pin steam, after pinning steam open it then close it. This should solve your problem if the task manager isn’t working.

3:25 too long to say you have no idea how to actually stop it.

Should have disclaimer that deleting steam will delete associated games. Maybe obvious to some, but it has been so long since i really did any gaming that it did not occure to me. 100s of hours of gameplay gone in seconds.

Just did a little snooping... 2 of the 8 webhelpers running are connected to a telus site and a microsoft site. So I have a feeling there's no chance to close em all down. They need our info so they can cram more overpriced shit down our throats!!! ;D But i'm sure it isn't all about making mon..bahasdhahahahaha ...nope! couldn't make it through..

This is worthless. You would know how worthless this is if you actually viewed the results of your own suggestions. It literally still reloads even after disabling it from startup. Your suggestions is "hope it shows up in the task manager and end the task"....that's only useful to anyone who hasn't learnt how to use task manager yet, and it doesn't even remotely address how u might need to restart your pc each time just to get steam to run again or how it can literally break steam entirely and not even a clean reinstall can fix cause steam is literal spyw*re and u just tired to turn a part of the spyw*re off.
