2019 BMW 3 Series - The ultimate driving computer
Показать описание
The 2019 BMW 3 Series is a super computer surrounded by a sport sedan.
BMW has made a few critical changes to the 3 Series sedan. The Hoffmeister kink is gone. The base-level 320i trim is gone. The M3 has yet to arrive. But the biggest changes are the ones unseen: The latest 3 Series shows just how advanced vehicle infotainment systems can be… assuming you’re willing to pay for it.
First and foremost, nearly all of BMW’s key infotainment features require paid subscriptions. They all come with free trial periods, but after those trials expire, you’ll need to pay for the privileges. That includes Apple CarPlay. Other notable features include smart navigation that remembers your regular routes and optimizes them for you based on traffic. There’s also a digital smart key available, which allows you to unlock and turn on your 3 Series using your cell phone.
Under the hood, BMW offers it's incredibly refined 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. It makes 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, and it’s quiet and smooth. BMW does pump fake engine sound into the 3’s cabin, but that’s becoming more common on quiet, performance-oriented cars. The 6-speed manual transmission option is gone, in favor of an 8-speed automatic.
