Following their much-anticipated return to the stage in December 2020 with the dazzling SONG MACHINE LIVE, the biggest virtual band on the planet will once again bring fans magnificent Jamie Hewlett visuals and thrilling live performance blended together in the unique Gorillaz way.

Guitarist Noodle, bassist Murdoc Niccals, drummer Russel Hobbs and frontman 2D - in all their cinematic glory - will be joined by Damon Albarn and the full Gorillaz live band plus a host of special guests, delivering an unmissable celebration of Gorillaz music.

On 12th & 13th December 2020, SONG MACHINE LIVE saw Gorillaz’ first live performance of their latest album Song Machine: Season One - Strange Timez - and the band’s first live performance since 2018, broadcast live around the world with three shows across three time zones through pay-per-view streaming platform LIVENow.

Gorillaz: Song Machine Live From Kong is available at cinemas worldwide for one day only on Wednesday 8th December.

I'm only 14 and I love Gorillaz my awesome mother was the one who showed it to me when I was 10 because she was playing her Demon Days CD she got at the library. We both love Gorillaz and watch music videos together!

A story that arrived from 2019. Murdoc felt severe pneumonia while smoking on the balcony. He fell to the floor and curled up, even wanted to cry in pain, but at the sight of 2-D restrained himself. 2-D: Murdz, I heard crying, and I thought it was you! Murdoc: Don't yell. And better bring me a glass of vodka. It always helps when I smoke a cigarette. 2-D: Why do you smoke so much? Murdoc: Call an ambulance, asshole, I've changed my mind about drinking vodka. *Murdz curled up even more into a funnel.* I've never felt so bad, even in prison. 2-D*dialing an ambulance*: What? Murdoc: Call an ambulance, asshole. *An hour later, the Gorillaz headquarters got a call, 2-D ran to the door like a puppy to open it. A doctor wearing an antique helmet entered the room. He was dressed like a crazy astronaut.* Doctor: * In a dismissive tone * So that's it, mister... Niccals: Get on my stretcher, John is coming now, and we will take you to the hospital. * He was saying this without looking at Murdz, as if he was in a supermarket.* Murdoc: Dude, do you know who's in front of you??? Haven't you ever heard of the band 'Gorillaz'? And the fact that I am the King of this group??? Doctor: * looking up from his smartphone * I have no idea. 2-D: Bro, what planet are you from? The doctor didn't bother to answer him: John, bring in a stretcher!!! The patient is not skinny today!!! Murdoc: What? * But then a bastard-looking John stumbled into the room, silently grabbed the musician by the throat and threw him on a stretcher... Murdz lost consciousness at his sight and fall.* He woke up in the building. Apparently in the hospital. There was nothing to be seen outside the window, the fog covered everything with itself. He recognized this place and was going to run away from here. But... He was completely naked and tied with sheets to the cot... For the first time in his life, he was seized with something like horror for his life. He screamed: Bitch! But the old man's voice interrupted him: Don't shout like that, it's not easy for all of us. Murdoc was taken aback and looked around the 'ward'. Around him lay naked men, also tied to bunks. Murdoc wasn't used to this, so he squeezed his eyes shut. Old man: What, not used to this? Murdoc: I'm used to seeing naked women, not the other way around. Some guy in the corner got really upset. Murdoc: Where are we? How do we escape from here? Old man: Nothing. We're in an anti-covid hospital, and we all have pneumonia. You're not the only one, buddy. The silence was broken by John, who turns out to be able to talk... John: A vaccine? * And played with some kind of syringe ... * Old man: Get out of here!!! * John got offended and left...* Old Man: *Murdoc* That's the way to deal with them, son. We survive as best we can. Murdoc spent the whole day tied to a cot and no one came to him. Night came, but somehow he couldn't sleep. He wanted to shit. He shouted: Help!!! A busty nurse with a mask almost all over her face and a flashlight on her forehead came running to his name... Despite the darkness, the bassist saw her size four tits. Murdoc: Pretty woman, help me, untie me!!! I want to shit!!! When she untied him, he ran completely barefoot into the corridor by touch, groping in the dark for the door with the inscription 'men', and groping, soiled the entire men's toilet room. After taking a rusty bath, he lay down in his bunk without drying himself and covered himself with a blanket. The next morning, without closing his eyes, he heard someone's angry cry. This was shouted by a new guy who was taken to the hospital with covid at night. Murdoc recognized that voice. 'Big Balls McGuiness.' flashed through his buzzing head. After that, he did not remember anything, he only remembered a headbutt, after which he fell into a trance, but did not allow himself to pass out. I was afraid of John's syringe. Last night he almost shat himself again. I ran to the toilet and smeared everything there again. I took a rusty bath and lay down under the sheet. The next morning he decided to walk around the hospital in an attempt to escape. I came across a women's ward... He was beaten by naked Amazons, cursed, broke a window in the men's ward, climbed down a tree and only his heels sparkled. The next morning the newspapers wrote: And did you also see a naked man running? Moral: Be treated with herbs and at home!

this is Razul, and i watched this whole performance at the landmark Mayan theater in Denver, Man it was fucking amazing and magical i cant wait for the opportunity to see Damon Albarn and the many names i cant remember right now but would love to meet someday in my life. so awesome how he spoke about certain things. i want to pick up different instruments and press buttons now.
