I met Jon in kindergarten at Seaman Elementary School where we became friends. Later at Cantiague Elemntary School Jon and I used to take a record player and Beatle's albums from our music teacher, Mrs Queen's classroom, into the hallway and listen to them. This was in 1972. I remember being in his basement where he had an upright piano and remember he was a talent to be reckoned with. He was only 8 years old at that time!!! I now have two sons who are professional musicians and what helped me steer them into the music indistry was due large in part to knowing Jon and seeing what he did with his talent. Very proud to see what Jon has become after all these years later.

Industry's "State of the Nation, " was very popular in 1980s. I remember imititating Jon using my harmonica then like his piano. Such a beautiful song of my youth in my country Philippines.

I absolutely love Industry. I've been obsessed with them since I first heard of them in 2000. Such a damn shame they were never bigger, considering how awesome "State of the Nation" and "Still of the Night" are.
