Wow, I am always so impressed by all your reviews. You are so thorough in your reviews and your thought process is so much like an engineer. I wish you reviewed all the gear I shop for. This was great. I love comparison reviews to help me get a truer picture of a product. So many people just test one item in isolation. This was such an interesting review and so helpful. Thank you so much.

Fantastic review. You covered all the bases. I own the DrivMo and love it.

I bought a Nulksen compressor that is similar to the Ryseab pump (both from amazon) and the battery capacity on my pump is also rated for 6000mAh, which is NOT true!
Yes, the battery pack is 3 NiCad 2000mAh each, but they are wired in series to get 12 volts, but STILL only 2000mAh, so the listing is incorrect and misleading.
The other thing I don't like is I don't think there is a fan in either Amazon pumps, where the Drivemo probably has a fan to keep the pump cool, judging by the temperatures you measured.
Also, I my pump does not have the different modes, but I only really need the car tire mode, so that is not a big concern for me, but it would be for some.
Thank You for conducting these tests! Very interesting!

How does it compare in speed to a manual bicycle pump?

Rubber falling off.
Some trickery with a peek hold reading.
What is the actual psi 0.8 - 1.8 less depending on running voltage?

Great review, thank you! If I had to nitpick something, only thing maybe missing is a crude noise/dB level check via a cheap smart phone dB App.

Side note re the finicky touch screen, I’m thinking this may be an intentional safety measure, to keep the unit from being accidentally turned on too easily(?)

For this type of stuff, I'd go with something from a well known tool brand with interchangeable batteries. I've been happy with my Milwaukee M12 inflator, I've used it for car tires, bicycle tires, balls, pool floaties, etc.

I have one and it's very easy to use. You can also plug it into your automobile if battery gets low on inflator.

High end might be altitude there, lower air pressure the second day and a pump that is marginal on the top of the range. 150PSI probably specmanship on the pump, not something all units can reach all the time. The volume it can pump says a diaphragm pump in both of them, which likely will not last long in use, probably only has around 20 hours of life in the best case, but with only being designed for 10 minutes at a time probably fine, and likely it will spend more time sitting in a box, or being used as flashlight while changing a tyre over being an inflator.

There is a good chance if you jacked up on each wheel first before inflating, the unit might have had more success doing all 4 tires without DC input.

I was looking to buy one of these, but really the noise alone is a deal breaker.
So it's back to the local petrol station and pay to use their pump.

Why does this and so many other inflators spec "150PSI" when they clearly state in the fine print in their manuals that 50PSI is MAX?? 50PSI is not helpful for 120PSI truck tires on properly equiped F350 trucks. Even their stock tires are 80PSI. But 50PSI?? WHY do they claim "150PSI"?? USELESS!!

Not having a hard switch is a fail right off the bat. Even if this devices only draws a couple of mA of standby current, the battery will be dead by the time you need it. But I get it: nowadays wankery and looks are more important than functionality.

Far too expensive for a tyre inflator, no matter how good.
