Data Resource Sharing: Firming Foundations for Future Frontiers

Research data, resources, and other findings establish the firm foundations upon which future frontiers of research build. NIH funded institutions and investigators are required to understand and comply with NIH policies under their NIH funding agreements. This presentation provides background for NIH data sharing initiatives; an overview of the NIH Genomic Data Sharing (GDS) policy; an update on the development of the NIH Data Management and Sharing policy; a refresher on NIH research tools policy & select NIH grants policy excerpts; and links to NIH data sharing policies notices and resources.
