Bible Study: The Power to Keep Going
Opening Prayer:
"Father, we come to You today asking for Your strength and wisdom as we face the challenges of life. Help us to stay strong, trust Your plan, and keep moving forward in faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
Scripture Reading:
Joshua 1:9 – “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
1. What Is Holding You Back?
Reflection Question:
Are there areas in your life where you feel like giving up or settling for less than what God has for you? How can you refocus on God’s promises instead of the obstacles in front of you?
Bible Verse:
Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
2. Are You Relying on God's Strength or Your Own?
Reflection Question:
When life gets tough, do you find yourself relying on your own strength, or are you tapping into the power of God’s Spirit within you? How can you lean more on His strength to keep going?
Bible Verse:
Isaiah 40:29-31 – “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak…those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.”
3. What Does God Want You to Learn from This Season?
Reflection Question:
In times of trial or discouragement, what do you think God might be teaching you? How can you trust that He is working for your good, even when things don’t make sense?
Bible Verse:
Romans 8:28 – “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Closing Reflection:
God doesn’t promise an easy path, but He promises to walk with us. As you reflect on these questions, remember that His strength is made perfect in your weakness, and He is guiding you every step of the way.
