My kid’s High School choir sang this 25 years ago! We sang it at the Community Cantata this weekend! What wonderful memories!

I can't get through this song without a few tears and the reason is because my Dad absolutely loved Christmas and singing this song still brings a lump to my throat because I miss him everyday!!

Sang this in the days of college choir... and I've heard it every Christmas season after that.

Every year in high school, we had this Madrigal Feaste around Christmas. We always ended with this song. My senior year, the Madrigal Feaste was replaced with a Jazz choir concert. On the last day of that, all the seniors of the choir got together in the hall and sang this for the guests. Such amazing memories with this song. Long live CHS Choir Class of 2013!!!

Very gorgeous. Every Christmas concert, we stand around the auditorium, hold hands & sing this song & I sing soprano 1.

OMG.  We sang this same thing in choir when I was in college for our Christmas concert.  Except we started the whole thing with this, with the choir surrounding the audience.  The sopranos were covering the entire house left side, the altos were all the way down the house right side and the guys were across the front.  We didn't have the audience sing, as we had plenty of guys to sing the Silent Night part.  :)  This was beautiful!
