Hello and welcome! My name is Anton and in this video, we will talk about one of the potential solutions to the most unusual shape in the solar system - The Saturn's Hexagon.

Someone forgot to smooth out the polygons, during rendering. “It’s OK. Nobody will ever see that face of the planet.”

Every dollar spent on that Cassini mission was totally worth it. Most of us will probably not see another probe going to Saturn in our life time.

Saturn is a bit of a show off with both its rings and a mysterious colourful hexagon.

It must be overcompensating for its big brother Jupiter's size, red spot, noisy radio waves and comet catching abilities.

Hey Anton, anything more on that planet recently discovered with an exposed core?

I can easily see a fuzzy hexagon at the opposing pole also.

Anton: " South pole doesn't have a hexagon." *Shows south pole in US2*
me: Am I hallucinating then? it does show a hexagon (although not as clear as on the north pole), right?

It looks like the opposite pole DOES have a hexagon around its vortex, but it is very faint, not as colorful as the big hexagon... need to enhance the images, I think. Thanks, Anton -- you always bring us such interesting topics!

Hey Anton! Just want to repeat my appreciation I've mentioned on a few of your videos recently, which is that: Your videos, specifically your ability to communicate the concepts and details of these wonderful scientific discoveries, are consistently getting better and better over time. Great job! 😎👍

I've been watching your channel for several years, and at the beginning I was mainly attracted by your wonderful enthusiasm, now I'm attracted by your wonderful skill in science communication! Kudos to you! And thank you, wonderful Anton, for everything you do, and really just for being wonderful you! 😅

The explanation I heard a few years ago was there was a sinusoidal motion of the "stream" that harmonizes to sustain the six "points" (which would explain why it stays the same diameter). So basically it is going "up and down" (in latitude) but since it is going in a circle the "curved" sides appear flat. Imagine rolling a circle around another circle like a spirograph.

Look at David LaPoint's Primer Fields. It show distinct hexagonal shapes that burn into the magnets after some time in the vacuum chamber running the plasma experiments he showcases in his videos. His experiments also show clearly how the disk of Saturn is formed by the magnetic fields. It really is an interesting watch. Great video and great watch.

It is a diocotron instability. The cause is counter rotation of layers in the atmosphere, but what cause the counter rotation? Answer: charge, charge is physical photons recycled by the star/planet, photons are physical with physical extension and spin, the spin is the cause of the rotation, both the north and south pole recycle photons, and photons also go completely through the star/planet, 1 group photons spin 1 way and 1 group the other way, thus influencing the larger particles, causing the counter rotation.

This one is easy. The shape was caused after a super massive, interstellar #2 pencil perpendicularly intersected our solar system and stabbed straight into Saturn. The singular hex shape is because Saturn was able to stop the pencil but the graphite tip hit and bounced off the bottom interior of saturn, exiting opposite direction. This also caused the super massive pencil graphite to fragment, causing the hex to be dark grey color in the 80's. This graphite finally settled to the core of Saturn. This left just some yellow paint in it's hex shape thus why it changed color.. Maybe Omuamua was just left over graphite from this event, it explains it's perpendicular intersection to the solar system. Just as the pencil was when it hit Saturn.

God, to an assisting angel working on Saturn: "Pass me the Allen wrench, the big one!"

As always, your explanation is very well researched and presented, and covers an absolutely fascinating topic. Greatly appreciate you Anton!

Looks to me like the southern vortex also has regularly spaced points that hint at a hexagon too. At 3:23 the upper left side doesn't look round.

Just more proof of what we don't know. Thank you for inspiring thought.
