A slight expansion, but Philemon is one of the core beings of the collective unconscious. Specifically, he represents humanities collective goodness and capacity for growth. Basically everything positive about humanity. However, as a result of him being a believer in humanities own capabilities, he will not intervene in their affairs directly and will only give them the tools to spur this growth at best, this being the Persona's. This is also why Igor takes a very hands off approach to guiding the characters, he is just meant to nudge them, nothing more.
Another important thing to note is that Philemon is also the foil of Nyarlathotep, another being of the collective unconscious who represents humanities inherent evil and all their faults and is also considered the source of all shadows.

Ironic that Igor the character is not actually in Frankenstein the novel. He was added post by Warner bros for they’re Frankenstein movies
Also a fun little theory
Some believed that Igor turned previous persona users who died into attendants

I'm so happy I watched persona 3 before I played persona 5 I heard Igors voice and I legit shouted *AYO WHO THE FUCK IS THIS*

One more thing to add, I only played one persona game so I know nothing but when Justine and Caroline get beheaded in persona 5 they fused

To my knowledge only personas can do that so maybe that is ether implying that Igor can make personas or maybe he can simply; that would make sense to a limit knowing that he has seen so much

I like the video, just one critique, the cinematic at the beginning is from persona 4 the animation, not 3. And thats a good thing to show my biggest issue with the video is a tiny nitpick

I'm curious that if they were to for whatever reason make a live action adaptation of Persona, would Igor be computer animated or be a Jim Henson like puppet?
