Perspectives in Geoscience: Earth's Freshwater Systems

Показать описание
In Unit 2, students learned how the Earth is shaped by the hydrologic cycle. Students developed an understanding of how rivers transport sediment, shape the land, and are essential to our way of living. In this Perspectives in Geosciences video Dr. Daniella Rempe, Professor in the Jackson School of Geosciences at UT Austin, and Alison Tune, PhD candidate, discuss the role that hydrologists play in understanding the water cycle and the importance of their research understanding water in the near-surface environment. They also discuss their educational backgrounds, the reasons that they are interested in hydrogeology, and the interdisciplinary nature of their field.
