Apex Online Racing - Assetto Corsa Competizione GT4 - Season 1

Commentated race highlights and championship update.

Round 1 - Zandvoort

Following the addition of the GT4 class race cars to Assetto Corsa Competizione this will be the first full league arranged by Apex Online Racing.

The race format will be a 20 minute qualifying session followed immediately by a 90 minute race with a driver swap, refuel and tyre change at some point during the race. Entrants have been encouraged to enter teams of two.

For this season the Beeswax racing entry will consist of myself and Morphee7 who is also a league coordinator for AOR.

Interestingly for this first GT4 season drivers were not able to select which car they wished to use. Each driver or team had to put forward a nominate list of 5 different cars and then be assigned one of these cars at random. Beeswax racing were lucky and were allocated the excellent Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4.

In addition to the team championship there will be a manufacturer championship - with an average of the points for all teams running in that car.
