2012 Mazda 3 #Eonon android radio and backup camera Demo!!

Its a pretty slick unit from #Eonon.
I only had an issue with the rear camera wiring and parking brake signal. I wanted to make sure it works flawlessly before doing a quick demo.

I recommend it to anyome looking to upgrade!

the rearview camera is a real pain already and i have only been doing research online, haven't even purchased the head unit yet! The hardest part is figuring out how the wiring connections for the backup camera. Like are there mating connectors on the eonon side or do I need to strip some wires and twist them together?

Like do we have to power it by stripping the wire on the reverse lights and twisting the power wire to the reverse lights wire? Or do we find some connector at the back of the car and just idk shove the wire into the same pin of the idc connector? Is that a secure connection? Do I need to tap the connection to make it more secure? Where does the wire briefly go outside the car? Do we need to cable tie it? Will the jacket get worn away over time if it rubs against anything metal etc.

Where do we feed the usb cable, the microphone cable, the gps cable out from behind the head unit? The manual says to run it along the 'A pillar' basically the side of the driver's door. Other people just don't even bother to discuss this. As if they didn't even feed it out from b ehind.

I have no confidence whatsoever. Like do I use the can bus decoder?

I just don't want to make a purchase and realise I have wasted time, energy and money.

So... massive props @FlipSideGarage for having the smarts and fortitude to carry this out til the end. Mad props.

Hi, when you make a call or a call is coming in, does it automatically cut out the radio or do you need to change it to like aux or Bluetooth to take the call. ?.

Does it boot up quick when u turn on car
