Awesome, thats a huge upgrade! The older i get the more i appreciate suspension. Been in the single digit temps here so it's too cold to ride.

Hopefully Coleman sells this as an upgrade kit or they do a full on running change to all future 200u's and start selling them with the suspension forks.

Thank you ! No more jarring my teeth out over rough terrain ! I ordered all the necessary parts from Coleman's website and they shipped them a DAY LATER ! ! Sweeet ! Cant wait to do the upgrade ! Thanks for all the info. A hard tail I can take, but no front suspension makes for a VERY rough ride !

Looks great. You should make your own handle bars for it. 1/2 inch black pipe at the hardware store is the same outside diameter as 7/8 handle bars, and you can use a standard pipe bender to make.

RED BEARD,
I have the Coleman camo bike. Gasoline sloshes out around the fuel cap. There are videos about the same problem with other Coleman mini bikes.
THE GREATEST SERVICE YOU COULD DO FOR COLEMAN MINIBIKE OWNERS IS TO COME UP WITH A TRIED AND TRUE PERMANENT SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM, P L E A S E!

Hey Redbeard!:
Success! I ordered the front shocks and tripple tees to convert the CT 200 U to front shock forks. I didn't order everything. Just the main Coleman parts. The rest of the stuff I think I can get locally.
I first made the order direct with Coleman back at the end of May. It has now been three months and two weeks. The parts came today. I'll keep you up to date as I get the scooter fitted out.

Would love to see you build a home made drift trike using the front forks from the CT200EX when they start selling them. I know there not needed but would look cool. I am betting these are going to be popular with people who build there own mini bike frames. Cant wait to put suspension on my CT200U.

I know this video is 5 years old but I feel like I have to make this comment anyway. I took one of those CT200u to Colorado on an elk hunt (the area we where hunting had some ATV trails and we didnt have an ATV to use so we bought this mini bike for $500 and used it). One person rode the bike (Me) and packed muled most of our gear 3 miles up a very rough ATV trail back and forth (so 6 miles round trip). We made 4.25 round trips with this mini bike and it did it amazingly well. The only reason it did .25 of one of the trips is because one of the other people riding it tried to ride it up this one very steep rocky section that I would get off the bike and walk it through. Well the torque converter I installed on it didn't like being held wide open and not the wheels not actually spinning so the belt burned up. If he would have walked the bike through that one little section I have no doubt it would have made 5 or 6 (6 mile) round trips no problem. These things are surprisingly powerful. Do yourself a favor and get rid of the centrifugal clutch and put a torque converter on it. It makes it have more low end torque and also higher top end speed. Mine goes 40/45 mph

would kill for a bit of rear suspension on the red bike. guess a suspension seat would work

I like the front suspension, and the way the headlight looks, but I think the front rack, ammo can and light are more useful. Just use vs. looks. IMO Geoff
