The World of Hans Zimmer: A New Dimension 2024 - Olympia Halle, Munich

Hans Zimmer's latest project, The World of Hans Zimmer: A New Dimension, is a concert series featuring orchestrated versions of his famous film scores. Although Zimmer himself doesn’t perform live, he curates the event and appears on video to introduce pieces and share insights, adding a unique storytelling element. This tour, which began in Europe in 2024, reinterprets iconic scores like The Lion King, Dune, Interstellar, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Over 100 musicians, including a full orchestra, choir, and world-class soloists, create a deeply immersive musical experience.

Zimmer’s goal with A New Dimension is to celebrate orchestral music by inviting audiences into “new musical dimensions.” The show’s audiovisual elements, such as scenes from featured films, enhance the music’s emotional depth, letting audiences relive these soundtracks in a fresh, dynamic way​​​​​​​​.
