Mr X is a brilliant song and reminds me a lot of the Harry Lime character in The Third Man. Does anyone know if that was the inspiration for Ultravox?

The song inspired me to write an episode called 'Mr X' in my vampire tale, 'Daciana's Revenge' which puts a new spin on Stoker's 'Dracula'. The episode also references Stoker's 'Gibbet Hill' and the 'Man at C&A', hence it's a mix of 80s music and Victorian gothic fiction! So thanks, Buried Creature, for bringing Mr X to my attention.
