Tip for the Safe: Put one of you travel shoes into the safe (you will find it hard to leave the ship with only 1 shoe on

Thank you for these great tips! Taking my first ever cruise in December. Now while I'm yet to be on a ship, I grew up on boats. My tip for on the water is thus: If you have a hat/cap/light weight head gear, its a MUST to make a tether for it. Use a lanyard or even a clean shoe lace. One end attached to the head gear, the other to your clothes. If your hat blows off in the wind, you won't lose it overboard!!

Hats off to you for a very helpful video Emma. You're one of the most likable and watchable vloggers out there in my humble opinion.

I've never cruised and I came across your vlogs on YouTube, because of your enthusiasm and extensive information I've decided to take my first cruise this year at the age of 72, I'm going to start small with Fred Olsen on a tour of the Scotish Islands and Lochs, I will let you know how I get on.

My tips regarding luggage:
1. This is the time to use soft side luggage if you have it, so you’re sure it will fit under the bed after you unpack. You will need every square inch if space in your cabin.
2. Use a TSA approved luggage lock. Your luggage will be unattended on some cruises when they leave it outside your cabin door, and it will give you a lot of peace of mind if it’s locked.

Hi Emma. I have been watching all your cruise videos and I absolutely love them. You do such a great job describing the ship, what to expect, what you liked or didn’t. I love your videos. I want to applaud you 👏👏 for this video…. I loved, Loved, LOVED all the hats or costume changes you did. I laughed soooo hard. What a total doll you are. Thanks for all the helpful info. I hope to cross paths with you on a cruise sometime. Thanks again. Have a good night (day) 😉🛳️

This is one of the greatest cruising videos I've ever watched! Thanks for all the work that must have gone into it--it's two years later, and it's still SPOT ON!

19:43 #38 Never let your children order off the "Children's Menu" you have paid good money for them to be on board. They can try the lobster, like it or not like it, but if they don't like it the staff will immediately get a replacement meal. This is cheaper than finding out when at home at an expensive restaurant.

Great piece of (hard) work. There's everything new cruisers will need in one handy place, and if we're honest there's a few things the more experienced cruisers can use to jog their memories too. Feeling especially chuffed that one of mine is on there too by the way. Definitely one to be especially proud of Emma!

I wish they had technology like this when we first started cruising in the '90's... These tips would have been so useful for our first cruise. Thanks for this great video! Even a veteran cruiser like me has found a couple of the tips useful!

Lots of good advice, the one thing I always remember is to always ask if there is an issue. Start with a hello and a smile followed by the words I wonder if you could help me? The answer is always a yes or we will try.

In addition to #24, it might be good to check for bedbugs. My cabin on NCL Breakaway had a nasty bedbug infestation we didn't find until the middle of the third night. It was horrible and I wish we would have discovered it at the beginning of the cruise.

I love your videos but have no intention of ever going on a cruise. I hate group activities, excursions, entertainment events, buffets, etc. Just trying to figure out why some in my family love cruising so much. Still haven’t cracked the code but your videos are entertaining.

This video is amazing!! 33 minutes too... God Emma you must've been filming for ages to get this! Also, did you put some kind of filter on the camera? It looks a bit different than usual. I don't know what it is but it looks very nice! I love how you took the time to record every tip in a different hat.. See!? This video just proves that we should all own at least 50 hats. I wanna borrow one from the Queen... 😂 Once again, amazing video, I just can't tell you enough!! I love them!

Whether I want to extend my cruise depends on how long the trip was. At the end of two 30 day cruises, I was so ready to get home!
