Wow, always thought Little Steven did the solo in this song.  Bruce is impressive!

There is so much guitar awesomeness in this version. Bruce just keeps building that intro up and up with tension with the pinch harmonics. Then Nils brings it home with a blazing solo. All held together by the greatest backing band in the world: the E Street Band. Great job on capturing this Paul.

Nothing beats Capital Theatre Passiac NJ 9/78 version. Organ solo from the late Phantom Dan Fedetici will blow you away check it out

NILS is FUCKING AMAZING!!! Just seen him last week in Seattle 3/24/16. He did not play this song but he did that dancing act on another song. It was PURELY AMAZING!! such an under rated player!

I don't think little Steven gets much credit as he should do. I love his singing. Bruce what can I say the man is a legend they all are

IMO the greatest song Bruce has ever done. Especially all the 1978 versions. It just BOILS out of his soul. As AWESOME this one is it still lacks the POWER the Bruce brings out in the intro, but Nils makes up for that with his solo version at the end. I have seen boat loads of great concerts dating back to the late 70's and other than Roger Waters 2010 version of the Wall which was out of this world visually (not to mention I am a wall freak). The show I seen last week in Seattle was the second best concert I have ever seen. Sorry Sir Paul McCartney (twice), Sorry Eric Clapton (three times) and all the other great classic rock shows i have seen.
