In this eye-opening video, we delve deep into the complexities of the Manipur conflict, shedding light on the reasons that have intensified the situation in this region. Join us as we explore one significant factor - the rise of Christian missionaries in the area and the fundamental differences between first-world Christianity and its impact in the third-world context.
We candidly discuss the brutal and messy side of third-world Christianity and its role in shaping the conflict's dynamics. Moreover, we address the glaring gap in development and growth in the region, emphasising the urgent need for industrialization and urbanisation to foster progress and prosperity.
Join the conversation as we explore ways to bridge the divide and make the people of Manipur feel like an integral part of the Indian core. This thought-provoking discussion aims to unravel the root causes and pave the way for understanding and solutions.

As soon as the Hindu community starts a school, they have to start collecting caste certificates, start discriminating between different Hindu groups to comply with reservation laws. Many do not want to get into all this.
So called minority groups have no restrictions. They can only take from their community. They don't have to take a single student from another community. Thank Nehru for this.

I am from the Northeast, let me tell you what's happening here in the region.
I don't agree that witches are being killed in the Northeast. There may have been a few instances in the past, but not anymore.

I agree with your conclusion on the Manipur conflict. There are two main reasons that have led to this conflict, illegal immigrants from Myanmar and of course, religious perspectives. Nobody would admit the fact that the influence of Christianity has certainly created a disparity among the same or different ethnicities in the Northeast. Let me give you an example of what happens in a scenario, if a couple wants to get married and the bride is a Christian while the groom is Hindu, the bride will never agree to marry in Hindu rituals. Instead, the groom has to convert to her religion, Christianity, in order to get married to her. This is evident everywhere, especially in Tripura.

Their perception of the Hindu religion is that it is barbaric and uncivilized, among other things. We Hindus, on the other hand, never discuss religion to defame other religions because we are least bothered. However, in their casual discussions, you will quite often find them defaming Hindus (yes, no other religion but Hindu). They are so radicalized that you will never be able to convince them of anything about religion.

This is an ongoing internal conflict that nobody will talk about. All religions teach about humanity and morals, they never promote hatred towards other religions. Hinduism has been misinterpreted and tailored by some individuals, such as pastors (preachers), who receive certain incentives for preaching Christianity. This is how they make their livelihood, and I don't have a problem with that. What I dislike about the process is that they spread false narratives, propagate, and radicalize the weaker and poorer sections of the community by offering assistance such as clothes and food with the intention of eventually converting them to Christianity.

The Northeast boasts diverse cultures, languages, and religious practices. Due to the rapid conversion to Christianity, it has certainly posed a threat to society and its prestigious religious practices. I don't mind adapting to the new ways of modern living and practices. One can adapt to these without having to convert to another religion or Christianity. Furthermore, I am not against the missionaries, their primary role was supposed to be educating people and showing them a way of life. What I am against is luring and radicalizing individuals to convert to Christianity.

Loved the podcast with both Abhijeets 👍
Thanks for the non-bias info AIM as always.
Good job editor with the timing, cuts and the images parallel to the conversation. It paints a clear picture on the topic as the information gets saturated while watching a long duration podcast.

For industrialization we cannot set up industries like Mumbai Delhi Bangalore in North East because it's an ecological sensitive area it will damage the environment at much extend what we can do in North East is to develop tourism by giving it attention North East is one of the most beautiful places in the world

I'm from the northeast and what this guest is spewing is nonsense. The conflict in Manipur is not religiously driven but an ethnic civil war. I don't understand why some people are trying to make every problem a religious problem. India is a diverse nation, why try to demonize some group.

Wait a minute, so it says that what happened in Manipur was done by government and not by the communities.
Why everyone is saying that communities will anyhow indulge in riots and rogues and government is responsible to look after it and condemned each time communities do that. What a pity.

Interesting and quite a frank discussion- hopefully MANIPUR should get normalized soon and people there live in peace. Very sad and extremely dangerous trend of singling out sections. Root cause analysis is a must to avoid such situations in any state

North Eastern states are Mongoloid people not related to Northern Indian DNA. They are simply different people than North India.

It's mostly lies when he talks about NE losing their culture due to Christianity. The Bible has been translated in my vernacular language, our songs and hyms are translated in my language, we attend churches every Sunday in traditional attire most of the time, and have a healthy and prospering community .
I also have not heard about any witch killing in my state (my Granddad used to be a local priest)... it's all propaganda without ground research.
