Hello good people of the world! I am very glad that so many of you have been reacquainted with this timeless album and to those who have never heard it before, I hope you enjoy your first listen! I hope you are all staying safe during these uncertain times and find some relief in this album. I share a wide variety of music, usually off the beaten path (none of this mainstream nonsense) from new and relatively unknown artists to some classics such as this that shouldn't be forgotten anytime soon. I would love to open your ears to a world of musical wonder and beauty beyond your wildest dreams! Feel free to hit subscribe (and the bell notification) to come along on the journey with us all :)

Unfortunately recent changes to the YouTube algorithm have severely suppressed views to smaller channels such as myself. This sadly makes it harder for unknown amazing artists to be found. Please help me in my mission to bring equality to the musical realm and give great artists the stage they deserve. There are more talented artists than ever, however if you turned on the radio you would be forgiven for thinking there are only a handful of artists operating these days. Similar sounding music made by the same small select group of 'artists' and their production crew who have nailed the formula to create a catchy tune have become the staple diet in todays charts and what the radio plays. I for one have had enough of this trend and I intend to do my best to reverse it by promoting musicians who are truly talented and original.

It is time someone took a stand. It is time we all as musical connoisseurs took a stand against the mainstream 'non' musical movement. The magical power of music should not be held by a small elite group. It should come from a wide plethora of people who have all had different experiences throughout their life which will ultimately shape their music, their message and the way it makes people feel. Together we can take small steps to change the tide in this battle. Acts such as sharing music from our favourite artists have the ability to spread joy and bring us all together. As humans this is what we do best, share what we can afford and pull each other up as we pursue dreams, goals and desires that we set for ourselves. Music is a powerful force for change and it is up to us to use it.

Don't hesitate to let me know what you think of any of the music on the channel, either by a thumbs up or a comment. I love to hear your feedback and it helps me to build a picture of what to provide for you all next.

Stay safe

Big love,

🎵❤️ The Musical Patriot ❤️🎵

What memories. I bought this CD from Sound Warehouse in New Orleans back in 1993. I was 24 and didn't know who these guys were, had never heard their music, and didn't buy a lot of CD's back then because to be honest I simply didn't have the money to buy music on a whim. But for whatever reason I was drawn to this CD and listened to it on the headphones in the store. I bought it and listened to it probably 100 times in the first month. Man being young was cool...even though I was broke.

This is of the three CD's I purchased in the nineties. The other two The Cranberries, and Tupac. This was played on repeat more than the other two...GOOD MEMORIES! Thank you

Nostalgia is a powerful drug. While, under its influence, ordinary songs take on dimensions and powers, like emotional superheroes." This is album hit directly into my veins. It transcends space and time.

I remember listening to this with my mom when she would smoke and meditate. I was born in 93 and man the memories. Now here I am with my own 2 kids and we're now doing the same thing. 🖤😭

I always remember deep lullaby (5:34) from the SBS ad on TV. It evokes such a deep longing and nostalgia for a time and place i have never been but would love to go.

Dad bought this on cassette in 1993 when i was 14, almost 44 now. The amazing thing about music is that the brain stores it with occasions and time stamps. This one tells me exactly where I was when dad brought it home. RIP dad.

As a child, I remember traveling with my parents, the 3 of us in the car, road trip in Brazil....and my father would say "son, pay attention to this music....what this guys have created is fantastic". Timeless music, this album is part of my childhood and will be with for my whole life.
