Golden Freddy: For the last time Michael, my pronouns are They/Them, not because we are non-binary but because we are literally two niggas✌️

Well, the reason people think Cassidy is female is that a ton of evidence says that she is. Cassidy first appears as a ghost in the survival logbook talking to the Bite Victim. Through the “MY NAME” code, their name is revealed. In order to give some automatic confirmation of this, Scott included the character of Cassidy in the Fourth Closet. She’s a victim of Afton just not Golden Freddy. Notice this seemingly identical character is a girl. This along with a girl with black hair appearing in the Logbook being given happiest day by the Puppet made theorists think that Cassidy was a girl.

The logbook revealed the character of Cassidy as the ghost of Golden Freddy since the grave with the missing name at the end of Pizzeria Simulator corresponds to Golden Freddy, and in the word search in which you find the name Cassidy, “ITSME” repeats over and over again. Thus, people assumed that in UCN, Golden Freddy/The One You Should Not Have Killed is Cassidy. The weird thing with Cassidy in UCN though is their gender. This started with the voice actor for the vengeful spirit. Scott said in the audition page that it should work as both a male or female voice, but it was fine to lean one way or the other. Thus, Golden Freddy (who we assume is Cassidy) has a female voice in UCN, but is referred to with male pronouns.

This is a conundrum. If we weighed the evidence on scales, you’d have more evidence of the spirit being male than female (pronouns + the face being Scott’s son, vs female voice lines). However, I think the issue with this is that Scott clearly didn’t want gender to be a revealing part of the character as evidenced by the voice acting prompt. Why not? Well, the issue was Scott wanted to leave a real mystery to be theorized about. But if you just heard the character speak, it would give away the whole mystery. The two big theories at the time were Bite Victim being Golden Freddy and Cassidy being Golden Freddy. I don’t think he wanted to spoil it by showing the character as male or female. Why miss the opportunity for the character to appear just because you didn’t want to spoil the mystery? So as Scott said “it should work as both.”

As the series continued, Help Wanted and Special Delivery teased the return of Golden Freddy. Help Wanted did this by the “ITS ME” Easter egg in the Curse of DreadBear dlc, and Special Delivery did this by having “C” appear on the TV in the game’s trailer. Finally, in Security Breach, Golden Freddy’s spirit Cassidy returned to come back and stop Afton or, perhaps more accurately now, the legacy of Afton. The Princess Quest mini games correspond greatly to this story arc.

The first game represents how Cassidy was lured to a back room and then killed. In the second game, she appears on the other side, the after life. She’s now given a sword, a tool to fight back against Afton. At the end of that, she’s told to rest by a red old man, Old Man Consequences, but she refuses to, returning to the physical world in FNAF VR. Putting the pieces of Vanny’s soul together, she is able to free her and bring an end to Glitchtrap’s power.

This is all my opinion though. I could be wrong, but this makes sense to me for the time being.

She’s been confirmed to be a girl over and over again. She’s appeared in the logbook, and ALSO in the book description it says a girl with black hair named Cassidy, and in the logbook she’s a girl wih two beads and black pigtails. And in the silver eyes trilogy she also appears as a girl. Cassidy is a girl.

The "he" in UCN could just be reffering to Golden Freddy. After all, the puppet is refered to as "he" even though we know that he's being haunted by a female spirit. It could be the same here. We can't really say for sure, since every other victim has that we know of has the same gender as their animatronic, but Cassidy is also a very feminine name. I see why people think the gender is ambiguous, but Cassidy is very much a feminine name.

The reason why people say cassidy is a girl began from the the survival log book where puppet is show giving a girl with black hair and in the page it was talking about happiest day from what i remember and then later we got the fourth closet witch cassidy appears and is a girl but possessing bonnie since Michael brooks was possesing golden freddy in the books and fnaf 1 golden freddy has a little girls laugh
Hopefully i didn't sound mean but just letting you know about some information
And I'm interested on the next video

The reason they use he/him pronouns for Cassidy in UCN is because Scott has a habit of referring to characters by the animatronics gender and not the spirits gender. He does this with Charlie as well, we’ve confirmed she’s a well she and is in Puppet, but Scott uses He/Him Pronouns for the puppet because the puppet as a character is male not the spirit inside. So I don’t think you can use that as evidence that Cassidy is male (I am biased because I do believe she is a she).

It's me repeated 31 times in the logbook. Page 31 is the page with happiest day

The pronoun’s Cassidy uses are Him/She This is a large mistake that people make because in the also approved books she is a female which means they both call him well ‘him’ not he so this means she is female she just uses Him/she I hope this helped!

Edit:guys i ik it’s a theory I’m not dumb I’m teaching him
Edit 2:the one you “shouldn’t have not killed!”isn’t Cassidy so he’s wrong anyways

They were referring to Golden Freddy himself not Cassidy

I used to be a huge fan of Fnaf and coming back to find out a character shares the same name as me is cool

I think they might have been the saying him because they were referring to Golden Freddy (a male character) and also the whispering that follows some of the mediocre Melodie’s is a girls, but that’s just what I think

The reason that most people including myself believe that Cassidy is a girl is because she was initially introduced as a character in the Fourth Closet, and was described to be "A girl with long black hair".

There's also the character from the security logbook that has black pigtails, a yellow shirt and blue overalls which is often assumed to be Cassidy. I'm pretty sure it's cause that girl is on the same page that either leads us to finding out her name or on the page where we do learn her name

new points about Cassidy being a girl: in the itp game folders it would be possible to put together a drawing and when the parts were put together there would be 6 children instead of 5 in MCI (it being theorized that the sixth would be Andrew or Oswald) but you can see it in the drawing that there are two girls in MCI, one on the right being Susie with blonde hair and the other on the right having her hair with two tails, which means that yes, that girl from LOGBOOK was in MCI and also in another image from mci that this time it was really In the game the child on the left seems to have hair with 2 small tails if you try to notice the shadow. I know this may be contradicted by some, but putting together these tips from itp plus several other things, if it really means that Cassidy is indeed the girl you saw in the logbook, in other words, cassidy is indeed a girl! and just maybe that kid in the movie could actually be Andrew!
