Android has this already. Ive been using my dslr cam with a cheap 20$ vivatar capture card as a test for IRL. But currently my raspberry pi has a program that connects multiple gopros that can connect to a rtmp server on my pc where ever im at. My phone (z fold 3) even runs the same program my pi does. Just sucks for data. Gotta spend extra for speedify to combind hotspots to fix that.

Doesn’t need to be gamers tbh. There isn’t a good sports streaming solution out there right now. If iPhones would overheat less with this solution by offloading the recording to another camera, this would be huge for sports.

What is wrong with using an app like Prism Live Studio for streaming IRL on iOS…? Can also use wireless mics and paired with a Gimbal like the DJI OM6, it’s pretty awesome 1080p 60fps - can also read chat and have things happen when donations happen… no need for a backpack rig!

Triple-A console games are coming to the iPhone 15 Pro/Max, so, yes, you can stream and gaming while touching grass.

Can confirm from being in the cellular sales industry, new iPhone 15 WILL have USB-C charging. Touching grass though? Different question entirely. 😂

Plugging in a capture card in a phone will drain the battery quite fast - let's hope we can circumvent this with USB hubs/powerbanks

Sadly only the top of the line iPhone will have unlocked USB C speeds and the most common models will me USB 2.0 speedy
