GSP is the absolute GOAT. From his first fight to his last, he was CONSTANTLY improving and honing every single dull edge he can find in his game, which says something because his game was ALWAYS light years ahead of the rest.

His only 2 losses, 1 was 100% nerves going against his role model at the time on the big stage for the 1st time, and a freak TKO from Serra that realistically can happen to anyone in this Sport. Nothing that wasn't avenged, or can be earmarked as a "well this guy showed him up".

The argument can be made for Jones over GSP, but Jones has plenty of "what if" fighters that took him to task, and for me, GSP was the total package, in AND out of the cage. Nothing but class. The one time he tried to talk shit he became a Meme it was so wholesome 😂

He takes the top spot in the history books, IMO. An honor to get to watch that Man's career. Thank you for the entertainment and inspiration.

A real smooth act of slipping in a rear naked choke was Nick Diaz on McGregor. Dropped McGregor and he alternates body/head shots depending on where Conor covers up and when he takes too much damage he lets Conor roll over. Of course he guards the chin so he slips his hand at the cheek then punches the chin to make him flinch then slips the choke deep in. Beautiful.

It’s crazy when people say “bisping couldn’t see that coming” to think he actually couldn’t. I guess just the sheer toughness speaks for itself but good lord, the absolute lack of fear in bisping to go in there with someone like GSP knowing he’s at such a distinct disadvantage because he can’t fucking see lol and still he put up a helluva fight is beyond respectable and admirable even.
