Q&A Episode 6| Relationships (Long Distance) in Residency

Welcome back to my channel! In this episode of my weekly Q&A I answer a few questions related to relationships including long distance relationships and how to navigate relationships in residency.

It is hard to keep up with the numerous questions receive so I hope this new format will allow me to answer more of the most common questions I get asked and have a reference playlist for people to find answers to common. You addressed so many great topics like being with a partner that isn’t intimidated by your demanding career/accolades, being with someone that’s supportive of what’s important to you, and recognizing that it won’t always be equal. That is important to embrace because love is about giving without expecting anything in return. It also sounds like you and Chris are of different ethnic groups so it’s also important to be open minded about who you may end up with. Salam Alaikum, in law school right now, but I was a pre-med student. I just stayed around watching your videos. Thank you so much for being an inspiration! My question is do doctors (esp surgeons or specialists) date/marry people who are not doctors or not in the medical field? How do doctors feel about dating lawyers? What do doctors look in a wife (I'm asking as a girl lol) or husband (asking if any guys are curious), and what do doctors like to do in their free time or where do they hang out?
