Thank you sooo much! You literally just saved me. I was trying to install my Nicole Miller crystal square door knobs and somehow got locked inside of my entertainment/ hangout room. I tried everything the door wouldn't budge...so I started praying... luckily I had my cell phone with me... because when I googled how to open a locked door your video popped up....whew...thank you Lord and thanks to you too!

I learned this at 8 years old. Just get a small flathead screwdriver and push the latch catch back in. Its stupidley but only possible on interior doors as shown

If you have that type of lock, straighten a paperclip and hammer the tip by at least a centimeter and you just made a key for it.

There's actually an easier way. I'm not sure if it is truly on all of these kinds of locks, but on some inside of that hole on the knob is a little thing kinda like a screw. If you grab a small screwdriver of proper lock picking tension tool and put it into the slot and turn it'll unlock the door.
