The Tbilisi FIDE Women's Grand Prix is the first of six events of the 2024-2025 Women's Grand Prix cycle, which is one of the qualification paths for the next Women's Candidates Tournament.

Schedule
The Tbilisi FIDE Women's Grand Prix takes place between August 15 and 24, with all rounds starting at 7 a.m. ET / 13:00 CEST / 4:30 p.m. IST. Click here for a complete schedule.

Format
The Tbilisi FIDE Women's Grand Prix is a 10-player single round-robin. The time control is 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with a 30-second increment per move starting from move 1. Players earn Grand Prix points according to their final standings.

Prizes
The Tbilisi FIDE Women's Grand Prix has a €80,000 prize fund. Based on the event's final standings, players also earn Grand Prix points. The two players with the most Grand Prix points at the end of the six-event series earn a spot in the next Women's Candidates Tournament.

Grand Prix Prizes
The 2024-2025 FIDE Women's Grand Prix also features a €120,000 prize fund distributed among the top 10 finishers of this Women's Grand Prix cycle.
