Basic Circuits - Part 1: Lighting a bulb

Показать описание
Maia learns about basic electrical circuits.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Maia was given a homework assignment to create a basic circuit that would turn a light bulb on and off. We decided to video the process and edit it for the class to enjoy. Jenn has experience creating commercial video content but this was the first time we had done something like this together as a family. All we have is a handheld cellphone and my laptop to edit things on so this is a bit rough.
Now that we have done one video, the rest of the kids are clamoring to likewise create videos to share! We hope to create more videos that involve all of the kids as well as improve on the quality of our content.
The kids are always eager learn while sharing with others, and I have the benefit of a strong and diverse background in science, math, and engineering related fields. We would love to create more content for you and your feedback will help us improve that content! If you have any other educational topic that you would like covered, constructive feedback to offer, or related questions, please leave a comment below!
We hope you enjoyed our first video! Thank you for watching and stay safe out there!
