Maria Fowler Hair Transplant Disaster, The Interview, Part 3.

Maria Fowler received a horrendously bad hair transplant and while she knew she was unhappy with the result, she didn't realize why until she saw the video I made about celebrity hairline disasters, and I described the problem with fellow UK celebrity, Kyle Christie.

In this part three of the Maria Fowler Hair Transplant Interview, Maria continues to speak out about her experience and talks about how hair transplant research compares to researching other activities in her life and how the importance of proper research never entered her mind.

There is over an hour of total footage that I recorded while interviewing Maria so look forward to LOTS more about Maria's disastrous hair transplant hairline result.

Very appreciative that you created this channel and have shared so much information. Helped me really get informed and interview my doctor/clinic choices to find the best fit.

All of this information is much appreciated, but you should talk about the most important part, which is the solution...
I've watched all of the 3 parts and didn't learned anything else than what i knew already.

Had my DHI hair transplant surgery in March 2021. I'm sorry it didn't work for you. As a guy I'm glad I had it done and the progress so far my hair is growing well.

I have the same problem. I lowered my hairline and looks awful. My hairline starts with 3 or 4 hairs comming out of each graft. People look at my hairline when they are talking to me trying to figure out what is going on. I feel depressed. I had no idea about this possibility before the procedure.

Do we have an update on Maria and how it's looking for her since it was repaired by Dr Ball?

The hair is coarse. This makes any mistake stand out. Only someone that truly understands how to build a hairline right should work on coarse hair. These mistakes are more forgiving with fine hair. From my perspective, there are two options here. One is to build the hairline properly in front of the existing grafts. This can be done because the hairline is not too low and the forehead is prominent. The other solution is to take out the bad grafts (with too many hairs) near the hairline. This will make an immediate impact. Then, density will need to be added. Some prefer to soften first and then take out the really bad grafts. I call these grafts bad actors. This is because most with hair loss don't like to have less hair prior to having more hair. If you can build in front, this is a good option. In this instance, building in front is possible. The other question is that if she already feels the hairline location is as low as she wants, there is no solution other than to take out the bad grafts and soften the hairline. Softening can happen first or second. Yet taking out the bad grafts will result in an immediate impact. I would recommend at least 3 months between taking out and softening with adding density.

I would not beat yourself up over this. The entertainment industry is one that often recommends very unartistic doctors to perform the surgery. Even entertainers need to do their research.

To be honest, there is no excuse for work like this today. But the same was true in 1993.

Nice piece, Joe. Thanks for your honesty, Maria.

Hi Joe. Loving the work. Quick question about Dr. Diep. Would you recommend for a male patient, and why / why not..? Thanks!

Hey Joe, what are your thoughts on the idea that second procedures can take longer for full growth to occur? Seen it claimed by some various reputable clinics and sources, not sure if I'm just being impatient but the growth seems a little less than last time at the same point. Early days at 4 and a half months again however.

Ok one question. Is DR Cinik any good for hair transplant?

Hmm she and Kyle got pretty unnatural results but both (Kyle in particular) got good density. Personally i think receeding hairline and big foreheads vs good density pulled forwards I think youd still be happy. Maybe I'm too easily pleased. My hair transplant was like £1650 and 3.5 months in I'm lacking a bit of density so I'd gladly take a bit of a fake look that I can comb over than less hair.
