Some time ago I (Bulgarian) was in the United States and went out with three of my American friends to drink.
On the way we stopped at a pizzeria which offered slices on the go. The guys were like, "what are you doing", and I told them - rule number one: you never drink on an empty stomach.
They ordered a gallon (3.78 l) of beer, which I didn't like. I drank Corona and tequila shots instead. I drank as much as all three and they were completely wasted. I called a taxi, took every one of them to their rooms and went to my own, having a little more than a buzz.
