In his most direct answer yet of this election cycle, vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance said he doesn't believe former President Donald Trump lost the 2020 election.

Why can’t Pennsylvanians afford gas? To start with it’s not just the “price” of gas. It’s the economy. And it society, but let’s start with the economy.
Trump was handed a healthy growing economy by Pres Obama. While no one person can control the economy, Presidents obviously can have significant impacts. Trump “premier” accomplishment was his tax cuts. I think it’s fairly obvious they failed to produce the “talking point” objectives, but even worse they helped push inflation. Remember when he argued for “forcing” the Federal Reserve to keep interest rates at 0%? More inflationary pressure. How about rewarding (allowing) finance controlled rollups design to reduce competition? Yup, inflationary.
And of course, what about trying to pretend Covid would “just go away”? Gasoline on the economic fire he had already started.
Pennsylvanians are having a hard time affording gas because Trump was bad for the US and World economies.
A different subject would be Biden’s handling of the economy. Short answer - surprisingly, amazingly well. Really! I am surprised and amazed with how well he has done! Remember when you heard every night about the coming recession? Biden did a great job of “landing the economy”. And of course no one does this by themselves, but how do blame him for doing a great job? Bizarre!!
