LGBTQ+ Inclusion in Sport with Nick Lenehan

Nick’s background in inclusion and sport comes from over 20 years of involvement at all levels. He is the coach of a current national team member in gymnastics, has been the president of Gymnastics Nova Scotia since 2013 and the head men’s coach at his club since 2006. He combines this knowledge of sport from grassroots to high performance, along with his experiences as a member of the LGBTQ+ community himself to educate others on issues of inclusion, discrimination and mental health. Beyond sport, Nick has both a BA Psych (SMU ’10) and JD Law (Dal ’13), which he uses to incorporate a broader range of understanding and guide policies on these topics.
