Magnetic floating knife display!

Denny Furey’s awesome magnetic knife stand he constructed for Blade Show Texas last year!  This thing totally blew my mind, such an innovative idea.

This has been around for a long time. They have lite up displays that continuously rotate the piece you choose to display. He most definitely didn't come up with it... he made his own homemade version without the spin and lights

looks cool but the last thing you want on a knife is magnetic field.
1 drop in the dirt the blade edge has iron shavings on it. hard to find a big demagnetizer big enough

That’s really clever! Excellent as a display, does it rotate at all? EDIT: looking closer, doesn’t look like it does, although then again for safety reasons he probably doesn’t want knives falling out of it
